You, your family, and your friends are invited to attend our new concert series Up Close Concerts – Fall 2019, Sundays, October 27 and November 24, with two exciting options to choose from: 4pm (free family concert program), and/or 7pm (full concert program, $15).
Hosted at the Santa Monica Conservatory (1501 Colorado Ave Suite A, Santa Monica, CA 90404), the novelties here are the space, with Living Room feel and Concert Hall sound, and the engaging program and presentation of some of the best artist-performers in Los Angeles

Mak Grgić
Mak Grgić has quickly established himself as one of the up-and-coming performers in the guitar genre, who programs music as far reaching as works from the avant-garde, film music to the great classics of guitar repertoire and transcriptions of Brahms and Kreisler.

Family Concert
During our second concert of the series, we will have one of our beloved faculty of Santa Monica Conservatory of Music.
American-Chilean pianist, Dr. Meriette Saglie, is an active solo and collaborative performer in the Los Angeles area as well as a dedicated teacher. Dr. Saglie has also performed in South America and Europe and is prize winner of various international competitions.
Door opens at 3:45 pm and the performance will start around 4 pm.
Music Concert
The first half will feature pianist Meriette Saglie.
The second half will feature, violinist, Ambroise Aubrun, and pianist, Zachary Deak. You will witness how these old pieces express emotions and stories that we still experience in today’s modern world.
Doors open at 7 pm and the performance will start around 7:30 pm. Bring your pillows and drinks (BYOB) to socialize with guests and musicians before the show and at intermission.
